A former first grade player with South Sydney and another NRL Club who has been back helping the club out will play again in Season 2005. He helped out the Junior Sides in 2004 and rest asure he will be out of retirement and ready to guide a young Premier League Team around the field in Season 2005. Good luck with the Comeback Champ!

come on Captain Seano I gave you more credit than that, i thought u would ave got it in one go champion!!! Lets see the last time he wore the red and green in some form was in 2003. He played for an NRL Club the previous season from memory. He had two clubs in season 2003. He will guide the young Premier League Team around the park very well!

dont bad mouth the bloke when you dont know him personally im sick and tired of you so called supporters and fans of the game who bag people personally when they dont them.

sure we all make mistakes and are entitled to a second, third or fourth chance on some occassions.

have a look at the work he has done in assisting the developing juniors coming through the younger represenatitive age groups and how these kids look up to him.....

not rubbish dont be suprised if he plays nrl i wouldnt be because i still know he can and so does he, but mark my words he will play premier league in 2005 for souths juniors.

I heard from a really good source that Craig Field and Wes Patten will wear souths colours again in 2005.

as per souths.com.au website i all told u trindall will be playing for souths again in 2005, but i did not gurantee he would play first grade at any stage at all.

i said he would commence the season in premier league and depending on performances injuries and so forth it will be interesting what happens from there but rest asure you heard it here first tricky will be Mark Ellisons starting halfback in the Premier League Team of 2005..................

funny mate i was thinking of this thread when i saw it on the news yesterday.

Yeah i dunno though if it is a move in the right direction -> sure he might be good to have around to teach the younger blokes (teach them the right things that is) but it seems like

a) Souths dont have too much control of their premier league team which is a concern -> what if we want to put a player back into premiers for game time but the junior want someone else?

b) Hes taking up the place that one of our young halfbacks could be using to gain experience.

I always liked trick but hes had his time i think

point taken on board seano i couldnt agree with u more on what u said, i think Tricky wants to go out on a high as like so many other talented footy players he never got his proper farewell or retirement if you like to call it that.

the juniors r running the premier league and flegg teams with final say on anything but dont forget it was souths who appointed the coaches in Mark Ellison and Scotty Murray so they know who will be paying there money so they know what they will be doing is in the best interest of the first grade side and themselves

All sides wana have their best teams on the paddock week in and week out so the best players will be coming back 2 premier league and getting game time, but having said that there are so many young halfbacks under contract aT SOUTHS and Tricky will have 2 show more ability then then to cement a premier league spot down he has been told by coach ellison he is not an automatic inclusion.

the halves just under contract and not trialling for positions as it stands at the moment are Joey Williams, Willie Peters, Dean Byrne, Brett Kearney (i consider him a half but you can discount him if you like) Peter Taylor, then there are some other 3 or 4 halves trialling for Premier League and Jersey Flegg Spots, lets hope the year off has refreshed trick and u never know.... be very interesting when they have their first trial match!!!

field has signed on to be captain coach of a country regional team in 2005 so he wont be back neither will wes patten after playing a handful of jim beam cup games for souths juniors before going walk about they will not have anything to do with him once again.

trindall on another hand is a sure thing!

u know seano that im a souths boy through and through not that im a roosters boy!!! the new trick is gr8 all u have to do is ask all the kids coming through the junior rep ranks and the senior guys in flegg and premier league what they think of him, they look up to him we all now even tho he has had his fair share of problems i respect one thing about him he always trained his ass off and made sure the rest of the team did and im happy about that!!!!
