I'm keen to start another money league, they definitely make things much more interesting

I reckon a money auction league would be awesome!

I'll be travelling around Europe during August/September so can't commit to making it to a live draft.

Not to worry mate, I'll draft for you. We're the two champions so what can possibly go wrong?

Geno Smith and Mike Vick will be high on your draft list maybe with a dash of Kyle Orton.

Is Albert Haynesworth still around? ;-)

With keepers.........

Na I don't like the idea of keepers in a money league, once a couple of teams become dominant who is gonna wanna pay to play knowing that their team is at a distinct disadvantage?

When it comes to money leagues I think it's best to start a fresh every year, unless of course you're talking about big salary cap type dynasty leagues.

I'm not really a gambler, so I would definitely vote against a cash entry increase, but I really like being in this league, so if that's what is required to be in this league, then I will still be in for $100.

Never had that problem in other leagues I've been in, it's a little thing known as integrity. Keeper/contracts leagues are so much better than yearly leagues.

Plus things change in the NFL every week, who's to say a 1st round pick one season will be the same the next.

Youre missing the point.

Its not about the 1st round pick in any given year. Its about people who draft poorly or are hit by injuries, end up having bad keepers, good luck finding people willing to stump up $100 to start with a couple terrible keepers when other players have stacked teams before the redraft.

If everyone turns up to the first draft what's the problem.

It's much more realistic this way, think about real life, you can't just restart because you drafted poorly one season. Also if you have say 5 keepers you can always keep none so you have first crack on the rookies.

Once you draft a team you're in it until the end of the league.

I'm lost. Keep no players so first crack at rookies?

It's nice to say people are in til the end of the league but life and the internet don't work that way.

Many leagues force you to keep the max amount of keepers, while in many others you can keep as many or as few as you want.

For keepers leagues you're better off having less people who you know will stay long term, people who only stay a season or 2 just ruin it. Seasonal league don't really matter that much, that's why I don't play them, just boring.

I play 8 NFL, 6 NBA and 7 MLB leagues all of which are keeper leagues apart from this one, one of those baseball leagues is a contracts league which is even more enjoyable than keeper leagues because you have to predict your players future career.

Even as few as 3 keepers would make money leagues a bit more enjoyable.
