Meh...I think it's a bit of a let down after 'The Calling'. It would be very very hard to top it but the writing just isn't there this time.

Still one of the top live acts in the country.

Got it yesterday.

Very tight and well produced. Quite a slick little number. I reckon The Calling was their best album, although Left Foot Right Foot is up there.

Yes, there are plenty.

TZU....Butterfingers...Resin Dogs....Shin Ki Row....Funkoars...The Herd (although there is about 9 people in that group)

And as far as I know it, the Hilltop Hoods aren't a Mediterranean Descendant hip hop group.

Yeah, I know you weren't being racist, just that I didn't know what you were on about.

The only successful "Mediterranean Descendant" hip hop artist I really know of is Mass MC, and even then he's more of a producer these days.

Has anyone here got The Herds latest album????? Possibly the best Australian album of last year IMHO.

I have the new Hoods album, but I've been too freakin busy of late to even listen to it. The Calling is still on high rotation for me, for someone who, in the past, absolutely loathed hip hop, the sh*t coming out from aussie bands in the last few years has been awesome.

I would have to second Thomas' motion on the Herds album, easily the best of 2005 for me.

Their latest album is A Sun Never Sets.

They release stuff all the time....they are more of a collective than a group and compromise between 5 and 9 people at any given time. Their previous longplayer was An Elefant Never Forgets.

Have you heard their remake of I Was Only 19? f**king awesome. Sends chills down my spine whenever I hear it. You can download it on here...somewhere.

Matter Of Time and Left Foot, Right Foot. LFRF was recently re-released so you should be able to pick it up pretty easily somewhere. Matter Of Time, however, is not so easy to find.
