Hinestly this bloke has achieved everything in ruby league and given everything for the eels. There is nothing for him to look forward to in his next few year at the club expect for pain nd dissappointment, he should leave and join a club that has a chance of actually winning a premiership, he deserves to win one.

Hindy has definitely earned the right to leave in a manner of his own choosing.

Not every player wins a premiership unfortunately, and judging from Hindy's commitment while he'd love to win one, he'll never stop trying and is the type of guy that honours contract and has loyalty.

I would love Hindy to do anything or go anywhere possible in order to get that championship ring , but he won't ever leave because he has that one quality rapidly becoming a rare commodity - INTEGRITY.

PLUS, the added advantage ------ it would give everyone on this forum the opportunity to bitch about the Club's administration about letting its most valuable asset leave..

you guys are way too noble. I would be extremely p*ssed off if Hindmarsh left for another NRL side. I'd totally understand if he went to the ESL to get his 2 years of an easy paycheck out of the way sooner rather than later, but Manly or any other NRL club for that matter, I'd be spewing.

He would be one player that would have my sympathy if he decided to try his luck elsewhere.
He deserves much more than we have ever given him.

You have got to be kidding right??

-We took him out of Robertson as a teenager to give him a shot when he was far from a standout junior.
- For the last 10 years or so he has PLAYED FOOTBALL for a living
- For most of those seasons I am guessing he was on $300K +
- Playing with us has let him play numerous matches for his state and his country.

Fair dinkum seriously, he is a great player who has given a lot of service to the club, but the club has been very good to him in return.

I dont recall ever saying that the club hasnt been good to him unless you can quote me elsewhere. - his teammates havent.
Its about time some of his teammates stood up and showed some bloody commitment. If all the players had the same commitment as this man we wouldnt be worried about coaching or fitness dramas and would be looking forward to the finals.

anything can happen next year and hindy has given so much to parra.

unfortunately if this year is anything to go on for our club, much like andrew ettinghaussen, hindy will end up being one of those awesome one-club players that achieves everything except a premiership.

......

Are you trying to say people don't have a right to be livid at what was dished up this year?

50 tackles tonight, most in the NRL for the year. Pity his attacking game (which was looking good early in the year) has utterly evaporated :(

I kn ow your taking the p*ss but where would he fit in? Backrow is full, although I guess now that willo is gone manly could use another tackler
well if last year's GF is anything to go by, manly could use anyone who could tackle in a big game

I suppose so, and for the other 25-odd games in the year? would rather what manly already have rather than a tackler with no attacking input whatsoever, but like I said if he were on willo's money Id take him for next year

And with no Wags or Chad partnering him next season, that emphasis on defence is only going to get a lot worse given our current forward stocks and lack of money to recuit any more.

Unless he has a major beef with Brian Smith, Hindy should come to Newcastle. His type of work ethic would be well rewarded at the club, and it would fit right in with the culture there.
