Tackles: 39
Hitups: 2
Metres: 14

Not a big effort in attack but was overworked in defence.

Only Fitzgibbon and Smith made more tackles (both 41) but Hindy only played about 60 mins while those two both play the full 80.

Actually Fitz only played about 70 mins - and wasn't overly happy about it either - bloody selfish roosters

I reckon Hindy made more than 39.....he had about 22 half way through the first half......then they frickin hung him out to dry on the wing near the end of the 2nd half - didn't want him to look too good

I was sitting at home - every tackle - "Jump in there Hindy! Jump Jump"

Overexposure of how Hindy went in this series could not weaken its impact.

He is a deadset legend and I wish he was a Queenslander.

it wasn't just his tackling but his ability to make a tackle and then present himself for the next one after making it back to the line...not only on one occasion.

I love the man...I just wish he was a Queenslander!!!

well those are the stats from nrl.com.au

but normally the stats are a little different with each source might vary from 36 tackles up to 42 depending on who you ask

Well you had to be a Rooster or Dragon to get the ball tonight they just passed between them selves.

Yeah - there was actually an interesting quote from Gasnier when they were doing their lap of honour....he said something like "I got lots of the ball tonight cos Trent and Shaun were inside me" :? ....adds support to the throw it to your team mates theory

well when Johns was in the team wtih Gidley as one centre and Lyon the otehr back in 2002, 2003 Gidley got about 50 times a much ball

its just same s*** different smell

Parra needed to get Orford that way when he gets picked after Johns gets injured again Hindy would have gotten a lot of ball and as 1/2 is a vital spot more Eels would have been picked guys like Morris, Morrison etc so they too would have gotten ball.

hahaha and laurie daley really said they were going to use hindy as an attacking weapon this game

they always refuse to pass him the ball. he's better than fitzgibbon but they won't let him show it. but unlike past rep matches where this has led to him being quiet, he made up for it with his defensive prowess

Well I saw Timmins dummy to Buderus then to Kennedy just to pass to Cooper

They both sucked last night and refused to pass the ball.

Timmins outstanding play near the line heavy on attack and he decides to run sideways from dummy half and get tackled. That just summed up his performance.

Yeah Hindy got snubbed!

Imagine the score if he'd had a chance to attack....

I cant stand the NSW team...seeing Gould and Fittler happy makes me sick!

I saw him come in for a few hit ups and he kept getting told to get out wide. He ran a thousand decoys, and was always sniffing around for an offload. He played solid. Geez his tackles have alot more sting in them than Fitzgibbons. Was it his job to bash Crocker out of the game or something?

so much for the "we'll use Hindy as a tackle breaking role model" line

exactly....what a load of crap....he wasn't allowed to get the ball, no one would bloody well pass him the ball
