Hindy left "empty" after stadium switch

I have been told that the club did the right thing and wanted the game played at Parra Stadium, then when Hornby announced his retirment, Saints complained to the NRL that thir fans were unable to get any tickets to farewell their players as they were sold out.

The pressure went on from that point, and I think you will find that the NRL "pressured" the club to change the venue, would not be surprised iof they found a way to cover the compensation that has to be paid to Parra Stadium Trust.

Asd I said before, what the f**k has this to do with Hindy, the NRL are massive pelicans

This is right up your alley.

What an opportunity to be a sanctimonious tool and try to finally get one over Poupou.

Massive fail.

Birds of a feather ....

What is this a troll-a-thon ?

If this is true then our managemnet are spineless tools.

St George stood firm in 2009 and wouldn't move that semi to ANZ to fit more fans - and fair enough .... why can't our management show enough balls to go f**k you all, it's too late, Hornbey dug his own grave announcing his retirement so late - you can all f**k off - its at Parra

Sorry - but last straw for me with our management - they need to f**k off

Oh well. Can't blame the club if we had no choice in the matter. Just disappointing for Hindy and Burt.

why is there no choice? its our home game - the NRL cannot force us to move it - we should have stood firm - just like every other club can (and probably would have done)

I read Delboys post as the NRL made the decision.

I thought we had previously already made our decision.

I'm confused.

Of course we would have still had a choice. Is hornbey that important to the nrl that they would try and give us no choice. Hornbey should have decided weeks ago if he wanted a saints farewell and he could hav got it at the gong. Sure he's a nice guy but we dont hav to f**k our nice guys ober for him esp after he leff it so late.

This thing has pissed me off!

I was initially in support of the move, but it seems to have been poorly handled and if even Hindy comes out and says he wants his last game at Parra then the wrong call has been made. Best thing about Cayless' farewell was allowing all the fans onto the field afterwards for the presentation. I can't see that happening at ANZ. Screw Hornby and Young too. It'd be wrong to have them doing a lap of honour alongside Hindy and Burt when this is our home game. They can do whatever they want for their last home game but they shouldn't play any part in ours. Has anyone from the club made a comment yet?
