Heart of a lion.

70 tackles last night.

Lead our team in hit ups with 16. Here lies the problem. Hindy is the least effective attacking forward in the pack, yet he leads the hitups ? He needs to step aside in attack in 2012 and the young punks around him need to own some responsibility and roll their sleeves up..

Last night we contained Ryles etc, then they bring on Frank Paul and Moase and they hit us at speed on the edges, and they get back in the game.

I love Hindy , but , taking the ball up other than as a pseudo prop possibly underlines where he should play next year

I really really really think that Hindy should just tackle.

During the attack, he should just take a spell. Let the likes of Fui and mannah run and take more hitups and HIndy can defend.

The only time that I would want hindy attacking is if he is allowed to offloads.

The offloads that Ryles does, i.e. Hit, turn around and pass, is what our forwards should be doing.

Actually I thought Hindy's attack was the best it's been in a long time last night - he ran harder and looked to offload quite a few times

Another Hindy related thing .... why the f**k would you take Hindy off for the last, what 8 mins, just when the opposition have drawn level? ..... no one in the history of our club has more heart and ticker when things are tight and a ball needs to be dived on or pressure needs to be put on a kicker - tired/exhausted/knackered Hindy will push past normal limited .... he was put back on for extra time ... I guess the little rest helped there, but we could have lost in the regular time .... i dunno ????

I thought Hindy was great last night, he don't like "tired" to me!

We have not worked as a team for most of the year, individuals have suffered!

Regardless of what the positive spin people say, SK needs to work a miracle in the off season as the team has gone backwards, by a very long way!

no, think he leads by example and those around him should take note

he shouldn't have to do it, he only does it because no one else is there to back up

I'm with ya!

Stick him in the front row next year.

The slightly awkward thing about that is Mannah and MoiMoi are definitely our starters as props. If we start Hindy in the 11, then perhaps swing him around to prop at the 20 minute mark?

But that's crafting the team to accomodate Hindy.... is that what we want to do?

he started off poor in attack last night, but really stepped it up as the game went on.
I thought his touch in the first try was key to the try.

Damn right they have!!

Tahu became Loko who became Horo
Reddy became Morgan who became Ben Smith
Grothe became Hicks/Atkins
Burt became a year older and/or Uaisele

The class backs we lost we replaced with reserve graders (at best)

Picking us for the spoon based on our playing roster wouldn't have been a long shot would it?

Somehow we need to find the knack of executing under pressure - that's where we've lost 7 games of footy in the last minutes this year.

Be was definitely better last night than the last month or so. He has always been on the ball but seemed to be there as tryies were being scored that I reckon he would have stopped more often than not.

And yes, he and lassalo have been sonimpotent in attack it's not funny

Tahu and Grothe were class backs about 4 years ago.
Reddy was ok. SK didnt want him anyway.

Our backs this year were about as good as the last few years.

I don't reckon!

For straight up comparison, Burt last year >> Burt this year. Grothe >> Atkins/Hicks whomever.

And Tahu/Reddy must be better than rookies??

I dont think our forwards are the problem(except their lack of niggle). I think that when we are leading a game and the opposition start to play catch up we have got no idea how to scramble in defence. That plus our turnstile outside backs.

If only we had a player with Hindy's heart and Hayne's skill.... Hmmmm Maybe if they got together and had a baby... But knowing our luck it would probably end up being a girl. LOL
