Hodges passed a fitness test this morning at training, it has been confirmed that he will play. Minto is out, Hodges onto the wing.

Brisbane will make an official announcement tomorrow.

Why did Minto get cut? I hope Bott can improve his contesting for the high ball because Pat Richards is one of the best at catching bombs and cross field kicks.

Word at BHQ is that it might actually be Bott who is cut for Hodges, rather than Minto.

Thankfully a rational decision. Hodges had to come in. Bott is too down on confidence and form. Minto isnt the most flashy player but I really rate him. He is solid and never lets the Broncos down

Yes!

At last Bennent is thinking. That is the best team we could possibly field for this match can the Broncos do it? If we dominate the ruck then I believe we can.

No excuses now Tigers let the better team win.

"Broncos’ wingers Scott Minto and Leon Bott again extended their training session yesterday by at least half an hour to field high kicks in preparation for their battle with specialist high flyer Pat Richards."

Minto got better this year but he never really added anything.

He was most dangerous with Hodges on his inside.

Thank god we won't have to see Berrigan and Bott line up along side each other this week. It's almost suicidal to have such a short centre/wing pairing. Bott has also shown himself to be a big liability in almost all areas of the game as the season has progressed, he really needs to work on his strength in the offseason or he'll continue to be easy pickings for the opposition.

Michaels really impressed me earlier in the year and I'm amazed with outside backs falling over left right and centre of late that he hasn't been brought in sooner. It's not a bad time to name our strongest lineup (bar Stagg) of the year.

Tate and Minto were bloody shocking for you blokes today.
The Bronco's need to change the way they play the game. They are so predictable.
Thumbs up to Shane Webke...he tried his slot out today
Bad luck Broncks. I like your sytle. But the coach needs to be reminded it is 2005 not 1993. Time marches on, thinng change and you have to change with it. Benny has been there too long..sames a Kevin Sheedy with Essendon. Both have been GREAT coaches, both have been trend setters, but they are both stuck in a time warp.
