That wasn't all that bad considering all the shit that has been let off by the judiciary (or not even charged) over the last 6 weeks.

The MRC and judiciary are complete jokes, they don't even know the meaning of the word consistency ... But at least something goes in our favour for once.

Yep. So much worse than josh Reynolds effort at brookvale 2 years ago when is acrobatic forward roll earned dogs a penalty goal to win the game. The most blatant milking of a penalty I've ever seen. Apart from GI's weekly efforts.

I think guerra should be commended for going into bat for his mate to allow him to play in a gf. Whilst I'm happy for hodges to play the inconsistency from judiciary is a disgrace. Still no mention of him handling the ref either.

Well the thing is neither Reynolds or Inglis fronted the judiciary and admitted to being a fraud.

The judiciary wasn't inconsistent, they had no choice but to take Guerra's word that he jumped and caused the incident himself. What can Hodges do if Guerra makes himself tumble over? Of course I don't buy the story, but we have to take it as it is because he was the victim and he has claimed all responsibility for the incident.

I don't buy and it does make the judiciary look like a joke but we have to take his word for it and in doing so he should feel the wrath for admitting to all this for the rest of his career.

THE CHAMP's uncharacteristic use of the word 'butthurt' and his general ability to make a complete f**kwit of himself has been a real highlight of this thread

In all honestly this does set up a dangerous precedent for the judiciary, imagine victims coming in to the judiciary and claiming all responsibility for something that happened to get their mate off. It will become a joke but the fact they allowed this now should mean they should allow this in the future or clubs should revolt against the authorities.

Do what to himself? Everyone knows players milk penalties (except the Roosters of course )

In 2 weeks time, no one will care except idiots on forums who will use it for point scoring in arguments (like me)

I have to admit a mistake in this post, there is someone else who care about this. DOGS AND EELS!!! also cares so much that he will call Guerra a fraud until the day he dies

Could this end up being the conspiracy that ends the Cowboys dreams.

Hodges cleared at the judiciary, Hodges awarded a clear no try to seal the victory....Cowboys dudded for the 4th year in a row.

we need a mod to change the title of this thread, like they have done for so many other threads

I would appreciate it if a mod could do that as it's tarnishing the name of one of the all-time great players who is always playing within the rules and is a highly respected member of the Rugby League community

I would also appreciate it if the mod who changed the title thread was a fan of a struggling Sydney based club, that would also be very much appreciated

Lol. Roosters fans certainly are in a difficult position.

On one hand they would have to admit that their team play for penalties (as Guerra has admitted to doing) despite their high horse stance throughout the year that their team doesn't do that.

On the other hand they would have to accuse their own player of lying about playing for a penalty in order to help a mate.

Tricky one either way.

Not really, it is obvious Guerra lied.

The judiciary has basically given permission to any retiring player that they can do as they wish leading up to a possible GF appearance because they don’t have the balls to suspend someone and end their career that way.

I particularly like how the MRC blatantly ignored the fact Hodges made physical contact with a referee, yet they went of their way to find Sam moa doing the same thing and suspended him as a ‘line in the sand’.

decision has been made, suck it up and move on. Cowboys wont care, Hodges now playing doesn't really change a lot personally. No doubt Wayne would have someone come in and do a good job in that position.

are referee's consulted at all during the Judiciary hearing? Should they be liable to give their take on the incident? seeing as they made the decision to be put the player on report.

Can see the NRL announcing that from now on, no player can go in & make comments on the incident etc...
