To me, and it's completely just my opinion, I see a lot of similarities in the way people treat/think of Hodges as how we all did with da Dell before he donned the Red Vee.

I think Cooper will eventually move to a lock position and I dunno, if we couldn't get Josh back, Justin would be an awesome inclusion. He is 3 years younger than Coops.

Hodges never said Jennings would choke, he just said it's tough making your debut in Origin.

As for this thread, chant whatever you like, it's your day at the football.

I think "scared" was the term used Pete

"Like everyone who comes into Origin in your first game you do get a little bit scared and all those types of things. I'm sure me and Izzy (Folau) and those guys will be right up in his face.

I wouldn't mind making a banner for the game:

Hey Hodges
"Watch Your Back!"
And when the idiot started calling people dogs and crapped on about 'sticking up for his brothers' I had flashbacks of the 2004 Roosters vs Cowboys semi-final where he king hit MATT BOWEN during a bit of a melee. But at least he owned up to that one like a real man, by apologising to Bowen via SMS the next day.

Or who could forget the 2004 GF, with a Grand Final to be won, Hodges was more interested in "fighting" his QLD "brother" Willie Tonga (by fighting, I mean jersey grabbing, cos Hodges only throws punches at Matty Bowen sized players).

He is a deadset clown and the epitome of the caveman-footy-player-stereotype.

I got spat on at a Broncos Dragons game 3 years ago by a Dragons guy at Suncorp (I was supporting Broncos) while I was minding my own business (with my 3 year old next to me) and haven't been to a game since nor will I ...then I read stuff on here and shake my head ...ok support your team I can live with but to spit on someone while they wear an opposing jersey is just wrong ...and read here how much people should verbally abuse someone, hoped they get bashed etc etc ....I dont want any part of that ...no one appreciates opposition players any more ...its sad but a true fact of the game today

Its pretty well known that most St George fans are fickle. The things i've read you guys write about Bennet over the years about being over rated, having the cattle, should have done better bla bla bla

Now all of a sudden he's your hero and saviour not to mention the greatest man alive.

Sneaky,

No matter what club you support, there are always dickhead fans. Case in point. I took my two daughters to the game at suncorp last year. I went to the toilet and pick up a beer, was gone for about 10-15 minutes. As I came back there were two guys, approx 30 years old abusing my daughter, who was 13 years old. I waited in the ailse, behind his row of chairs, he was one seat directly behind us.

One of the big tough peanuts, waited until both my daughters were alone (they were 13 & 15 years old). He was wearing a broncs jersey yelled at her "Hey little girl, dragons take it up the ass". All maroon, and yellow clad fans thought this was extremelly funny and laughed right on cue, pointing at her and more abuse followed (you support a bunch of androtops etc, etc). My daughter ever so politely then turned around and clamly said "Your mum takes it up the ass". At this point, Mr hero stood up and started to walk towards her, I raced over, had a quiet word in his ear and he sat down, but continued to swear like a true bogan, spill beer over us repeatedly, accidently of course. Needless to say he was escorted out of the ground and given a bed for the evening.

Unfortunately, those kokheads spoiled what would have been a great night. Why ?
Because every club has absolute tosser supporters, but they do not form the majority, only the minority.
