ANTHONY Minichiello was sanctioned after breaking a shop window in Paris because it happened between 4am and 5am, Australia tour co-manager John Hayes revealed today.

The Australian Rugby League this week ordered Minichiello, rugby league's player of the year, to perform community service with junior clubs over the incident, which occurred while the Kangaroos were in the French capital on tour last month.
But the ARL said it accepted the fast food outlet's window was broken by accident.
That raised the question of why he was being punished - and Hayes appeared to provide the answer.
"It's a little bit to do with the time it happened," Hayes told Sydney radio station 2KY today.
"It's probably not really acceptable to be coming home at that time of the morning.'' Asked what time the incident occurred, Hayes said: "It might be four or five o'clock in the morning."
