Luke and Lovodua or Hunt, Luke and Clune? If it’s only 2-4 weeks of the season I’d go the former if longer term I’d go the latter. I reckon Clune could more than do a job at 7 and I know Hunt can do a job at 9. Luke would add punch off the bench. My preference though is for Hunt to stay at 7 and have the season of his life.

I want Hunt at 7. But If it’s a tandem of Luke and Hunt to cover 9, I’d prefer that Bully start the game, with Hunt coming on after 20 or so when things open up.

l think McGregor is our best hooker to date.
He's managed to screw the club good & proper.

Apart from that, probably best to share it between someone with sound knowledge ( Luke ) and an up and coming player like Lovodua.

Don’t worry Mary has asked his coaches to sort it. He just can’t repair those broken thoughts

I prefer:
6. Sailor
7. Norman
9. Hunt

14. Luke

We need to make changes to try to improve our chances. Sailor needs to up his defensive skills and Hunt should be in rotation with Luke.

Hunt is our best 7 and that's where he needs to stay.

Luke to 9 and Lovodua to the bench to cover.

Let's not screw the team just to cover one missing player for 2 straight seasons please...

your last line is only if you have a coach that can adapt game plans to suit the situation .... sadly we know supercoach has 1 game plan.. dont forget that they have trained all preseason for cams inclusion and supercoach has probably written it in permanent marker on the white board !! how can you expect him to coach for this totally unexpected problem .. only a few weeks out from the first game .. maybe hes ringing phil for advice !!! - LETS GET FLANNo and SHEP in charge real quick

I agree for the most part especially if it’s shorter term. But if it were say a season ending injury. Would you carry Lovodua all season?

While I am President of this nation......sorry:....
“ While ever I am coach of this club Hunt will be my number 7 cause that is what I bought him for and that is where he will play” says it all really

Who knows Lovodua might end up a pretty good player we won’t know til we give him a go. I definitely want Hunt at 7 I’m just throwing the question out there really. My biggest fear is a repeat of the funky mid game position changes we did last season. With players that are already tired moving to the forwards. Switching fullbacks mid game. 2 minute stints for Lomax or Dufty. If that were to be the case I’d just prefer to move Hunt to 9 than that rubbish again.

Hunt is the teams halfback. We have two hookers who have played international football (hey, Fiji are a team too!) plus this Brittain character on the way. Hunt at 7, two of the other three to share the 9 until McInnes gets back. Just waiting for supercoach to overcomplicate it now.

Going on past experience, Hunt was off and on last season and I would say more off than on. I would also say that if he brought his best game to the team each week we would have had a win more often.

For me Norman would do a better job running the team and Sailor definitely has a very good attacking game although his defensive skills still need attention.

It looks like we won't have De Belin for 2020 and to me Merrin is more valuable as a prop and to round it all off, I don't believe Luke will play many first grade games this season. Lova still is not killing it in CC and so until he shines, I'd rather see him learn his skills there. Until McInnes is fit to play, mMy forward pack would be:

8. Merrin
9. Hunt
10. Vaughan
11. Ford
12. Sims
13. Frizell

14. Luke
15. Graham
16. Kerr
17. Lawrie

Halves
6. Sailor
7. Norman
