The thing that had me most frustrated was when they interviewed Sheens after the game.
No one asked about Head.
Though when asked about playing Farah out of position at half back, he responds with this one " he's our best number 9 and also our best number 7"
Ok so he has clearly lost all confidence in both Head and Morris.
But Super-Coach, out of those 3.. Head, Farah & Morris.. who is the odd one out ? Who is the genuine half back?
Now, I know Head is out for another week through injury, but he said the halves will stay the same for some time. But surely if you're struggling, as we are, youd have to put the specialist HALF BACK back in when fit.
Mr 38% and sliding... fast.
As for the game itself.
1. Hodgo - Another brave performance, how we didn't make him some sort of one year extension is beyond me.
2. Tuaki - Much better performance again, more involved then start of season.
3. Collis - Injured.. did nothing anyway.
4. Lawerance - Why did he only touch the ball a few times, atleast his defence was passable this week.
5. Ryan - very good defending against the high ball up against Inglis & Quinn. I rate Ryan.
6. Benji - I believe the word is patchy...no.. erratic. Good vision for the first try, still not running the ball nearly enough or backing players up.
7. Farah - wasted in this position, is not a half back no matter how many times we try it.
8. Gibbs - Lazy in defence, didnt hit the line with any speed or conviction
9. Morris - Did nothing wrong.
10. Lawrie - Hit the ball up and defended with Aggresion..something we need. Is only good for 30-40 mins per game though.
11. Heignington - Get that man a new...he is a warrior.
12. Fulton - Not offering enough with the ball, tackled well as usual.
13. Halatau - Excellent out of dummy half, should stay in the starting side even when front rowers return.
14. Flanagan - sh*thouse.
15. Teo - The hit on Quinn was the only thing he did. f**k off now money bags.
16. Payne - Garbage..penalties and dropped balls all season long..punt him please
17. Harrison - Solid. Needs more ball in space.
