I saw him play a couple of weeks ago and didn't do a great deal. Nothing to make me jump up and down about him being back into 1st grade. Mind you, i think Lasalo is a waste of a playing spot in 1st grade and Horo would be as useful as him.

I haven't seen him play this year, Mark. But he must be going like a busted if he can't dislodge some of the 'perhapsers' in the NRL team....He is up to Eels standards, but not NRL standard.

For me Horo has been one of the most disappointing of the many failures, showed so much promise early. Yep, must be really struggling now not to make it into the top grade, obviously not much hunger either.

I always rated Horo, and was surprised to see him dropped though I hadn't seen him play this year.

What happened?

Horo did not participate in training this week, not sure what the injury is, but those who have seen him at Wenty suggested he did not do much

My memory is a bit fuzzy over the exact details, but I believe there was some falling out between the club and Mark Horo?

Can anyone confirm that/ provide more detail?

I seem to remember something going on??

If that's true, then it might not be surprising that his son is also out of favour? (or vice versa not putting in)

his dad was after a coaching gig, he didnt get it, penriff gave him one, he took the family hostel for young parra players to penriff plus an alignment with hills sports high or something like that IIRC.

That's a shame he did a lot for the club. I hope the club have got someone else willing to put in so much effort and offering such support with young players.

Yeah. Ideally one who won't crack the sads when he gets turned down for a coaching job.

This is the problem with trying to turn us into a family club - there's nothing less professional than a family.
