By All Blacks' standards it's a mea culpa of almost staggering proportions.
When it comes to wing Hosea Gear, it appears the coaches are prepared to concede that they got it wrong.
That was the firm indication from an admittedly jet-lagged assistant coach Steve Hansen when he touched down in Auckland yesterday after the long flight back from London.

well in the past few years we've had some of the best wingers in the world, we've had joe, sivi, rico gear, corey jane to name a few, so he's been behind some quality, i guess he hasn't had an opportunity becuase of these players, and injury, and when he got it a few years back he didn't really take it, but now, hes taken it and hes playing v well,
