None of this sweet chilli gay rubbish they sell today. I reckon hot chilli corn chips would outsell all the others anyway.

I remember when i was a kid i visited my sister who lived on the NSW-Qld border. I remember they used to sell these stinking hot corn chips all over the place back then (around the early 1980's id guess) ... i saw them in Murwillumbah and also in the Gold Coast and Coolangatta (unsure about Brisbane as i never went there at the time). I think they were called Taco Bills Hot Chilli CCs or Taco Bobs or some weird name like that lol. They were the best corn chips I've ever tasted BY FAR. Does anyone from Qld remember these ? They were quite hot from what i remember.

Sigh why cant someone out there make these ? They go together perfectly and yet you cant buy them anywhere. Idiot corporations.

It's funny you wrote this thread as I wanna contact Dorito's and ask them about this packet of corn chips they used to have back in the 80's as well.

Did you know that in both Franklin's and Woolworth's today you can't by the basic CC anymore?
Well, there's a small 8 pack in the mini's with about 6 chips in a packet but they don't stock CC's anymore in the BIG packets.

OVP.
Do you remember Dorito's back in the 80's? Remember a silver 'n black packet, more silver than black, and they were hot flavour with spices on them that packed a punch.
It was like spicey hot beef with heat flavor.
Can't remember what they were exactly though.
Gee, I miss 'em.
Just like the red sky-blue Return of the Jedi iceblocks as well.

We used to stop at the mountian goat shop (chicken coop really) near Moorebank every Sunday before going out to St. Mary's, to Aunty Joe's, and I'd eat these f*ckers and watch Rocky 2 and 3, Star wars and Friday the 13th, Evil Dead and Rambo.
Those were the days.

I'm currently on a plain green bag Dorito trip lately.
They could use a little more salt though.

Coles rice snacks BBQ are the bomb as well.

P.S. OHHH! Has anyone sunk their teeth into one of these yet?
