that's why I love him:lol:. Although he was mental, I think he had a lot of brilliance in him too. To be honest, I think a lot of philosophers were mental. A friend of mine is doing his honours thesis on the philosophy of William Blake and that guy was schizophrenic, but he was brilliant.

And philosophy is largely sh*t, unless we're talking stoicism, which is pretty decent.

well my favourite thing about philosophy, and probably the reason it appeals to me so much is having the avenue to refute and make objections to everything we are taught in the discipline. I dislike more philosophers then I like. People often ask me if there are any philosophers I like:lol:. I have been battling with Hume for months now, but he is very difficult to object to, he also did not have a beard and was morbidly obese

Come to think of it, a lot of philosophers did not have beards ... why are beards associated with philosophy?
