6th LOL, we have the worst fullback and hooker in the comp. Ask fans of the other 15 teams how our teams looks on paper, you'd get 14th at best.

As for our depth, what does our team look like in round 1 with sione and tariq out?

We need a centre pretty badly for next year. Zero depth there atm.

Interesting to read that Feeney is developing his game at fullback in the pre-season, with Potter working with him and giving him tips along the way. I guess being rather unfamiliar with the position my biggest concern would be how good his defensive cover will be at the back, but in attack he'd be a handful I reckon.

I really think Feeney's best position would be fullback. He's very Michael Morgan-esque

If he is half the player Morgan is I will be happy. Morgan reminds me very much of Locky. That final play in last season's GF was pure genius.

There is barely anything that separates the teams coming 5th down to last spot on paper. Really, the only thing that separates them at the end of the season is injuries and a decent run of form. With our team it's our lack of heart, we made a prelim with an extremely plod team on the back of a few players that struck great form. There has been plenty of shit teams that have made a decent run.

I'm not too focussed on where we finish next year, it's more about our attitude and fitness levels on the field that count. If we turn up and play hard for 80 minutes every week win lose or draw it will tell us that Brown is having the desired affect and if we do that the results will take care of themselves. The problem with 2015 was that apart from the first 4 rounds we were only ever good for periods of 20-30 mins at a time, and whilst we had the potential to be a dangerous football team during those stints we were absolutely deplorable for the other 50-60 minutes each week, some of I put down to attitude and some of it down to fitness, also the ridiculous injury list we had didn't help either.

Agreed on the fitness issue. We have to find an extra gear the others do not have. If we can sustain a consistent up tempo game we will always be a chance.

cant piss of fast enough

For mine he is the face of the mediocrity that has embedded itself in the club. Good riddance

Hard to argue with the above. He may have offered good endurance, but he definitely didn't offer us good impact. When Bennett signed Smith and Scott due to our softness, Houston was the number one culprit imo. At another period, Wayne dropped him so he could try and bulk up in the gym, for a few weeks after, he started offering us a bit of impact, but that was short lived. He should have been released years ago imo.

I was a big fan of House in his early days, but like Gidley and a few others, he outstayed his welcome by a few years.

Should really be headed to England if he wants to keep his career going. Not up to first grade NRL standard unless we suddenly add two new teams.
