Sorry guys, ive been overseas so if this has been discussed, apologies...

Wouldnt Mark Riddel be a good hooker. If Dykes remains, keep him in the 6 with Witt in the 7 and Morris to the bench in a Brad Drew type role circa 01. Lots of strike power. I hear he has been linked to the Roosters though.

Again sorry if it has been brought up.

off the bench though would be good....how can he as well be link to the rooters, thye have to be over the cap surely....but then again fittler retiring would free up a heap of cash.

Also you could be adding Ricketson to that list as well

I always though Riddell could be used in the backrow becuase of his runs, with Cayless, Cannings and Hindmarsh in your forward pack he really would work well with those type of players.

Well let's see now:

* Strong dummy half running

* Great ability to spot gaps

* Strong defence

* VERY strong

* Try scorer

* Goal kicker

* Coming from a winning culture.

Let's see, what's the expression I want?

Oh, right.

HELL YEAH!!!

Ridell's name seems to pop up in the attitude problem department quite often....but he is a very good player.....I wouldn't complain if we managed to sign him.

But gee, shouldn't St George fans be calling for the sacking of their coach? - they are allowing a SOO rep (Kite) and a City rep (Riddell) negotiate with other clubs - they will have a nice big list of players they have let go too....sack Browny!!!.....oh hang on, the salary cap - yeah, maybe its a valid reason to lose players after all.

morris on the bench is such a waste

it worked with drew and marsh cos drew was not an 80 minute player and marsh had a dynamic impact that worked wonders against tired forwards - much like webster now, but with talent and no red hair. morris couldn't fill that role though. next

I actually reckon that I have found the buy of the millenium.

Non-footy player, but spectacular athlete. Bloody huge and massively strong and possibly faster than any other forward in the comp over 40m.

I'm not telling who ti is but I'll give a clue.

Recently quit his profession to try his hand at a sport that he has always wanted to play since he was in school (when he played it and quite well). In the profession he has recently quit, he rose to the very, very top and did so at a younger age than anybody before.

PM me the answer if you think you have it, don't spoil it by posting here.

lol, kinda does sound like me, doesn't it? But I didn't give away the telltale clues: insanely good-looking, highly intelligent and devlishly charismatic. Then you would know for sure that it was me!

Riddell like Utai, appears one of those up and down players, if he has a run in with the coach he's less likely to perform. Riddell is a very good player but whether he has the attitude to cope with Brian Smith is something that must be strongly considered.
