Whilst I disagree with it, it was great work by his legal team.

The NFL is not allowed to punish players twice for the one offence.

The NFL f**ked up originally with the pissweak punishment in the first place.

Goodell might not survive this, and maybe that's a fair and just thing
this year has been handled abysmally by him. He's got way too much power and he's misused it a number of times now.

it seems very much that they think that is the case.
Goodell seems to think this has vindicated him and everyone is happy to just move on.

great time for the report to be released. a third of the teams are concentrating on playoffs. the other two thirds are fresh into coach, draft and FA speculation. not saying it was planned but the timing is convenient.
