How do you HONESTLY rate your team's chances in 2006?

Looks like I'm the first one to take the ball up for the dragon's fans here.

Dragons - anything is possible. Realistically I've got no bloody idea. We have a great chance to win it but there's a long time between now and October. The only thing that would surprise me is if we win more penalty counts than we lose.

For Sharks if Vagan is in 5/8 a top 8 spot is a certainty.

i dont know about that , Vagana could be sitting on the sidelines quite a bit if he plays 5/8

A lot depends on keeping our best squad on the paddock. Once Heady is back about round 5, if he can stay injury free from there (touch wood) and Barrett can also stay on the paddock (touch an aven bigger piece of wood) we can give the title a fair shake. Apart from the injury scenario, it all boils down to attitude. Hopefully Browny has learnt what it takes to get to a GF after last year, and the boys are hungry enough to lay past demons to rest.

Best case scenario: Minor premiers and premiers.
Worst case scenario: 6th to 8th and gone week 1.

13th.

-4 hurts.

While there may be some attitude performances of note, there may also be periods of disinterest, loss of focus on the objectives, and career turmoil as player's wonder who's going to be chopped next.

Positives, possibly the best propping combo in the comp in Wiki and Price, negatives, lack of a star player in the halves, inconsistent performances by players who should do better and do do better when it comes to Kiwis tours.

13th-15th. I'd love to say better, but reality says the emotions of what's gone on, despite the positive PR, has to have had some effect.

Couldn't be anymore honest than that.

storm- prediction 4th-6th

big loss of kearns but i think with the size we have added we are looking pretty good up front, when everyone is fit that is.

Cronk will go well at halfback...but weather or not the combo with hill works is another thing. I think they will be fine tho...with hill taking more control of play.

the backs are awesome...and if we can get the ball to them i think there will be tons of points scored. plus the depth is pretty damn good back there.

If everyone stays fit and plays consistent i think we will really go well. Last year we were a little up and down...hopefully the confidence problem is fixed.

Manly

Best possible - 5th
Worst possible - 10th

2005 saw Manly start with a bang. Their early season good form was interrupted when Origin came around. Imo when Ben Kennedy was chosen for NSW, this was the worst thing that could of happened to the Eagles. The series took it out of him and with that Manly's form as well.

Positives: BK has the captaincy and is free from rep duties. If he remains injury free:pray: then Manly should reap the rewards. With the addition of Orford and Bell, Manlys backline looks a little more potent.

Negatives: 5/8th is an issue, Monaghan, Burns or Witt? Depth in the front row is a little bit thin for my liking. New combinations may take time.

For me, missing the semis this year after staying in the top 8 all year in 2005 would be a failure.

Last year was a very close comp so there isn't much between 6th and 15th. Unfortunately these days it seems injuries dictate a teams season more than anything else.

In saying that our best hope would be 6th, worst would be the spoon. I'm tipping around the 10-11th spot.

there or thereabouts.

it'll be a an exciting ride again.

i expect the dogs (if injury free) to be the biggest threats.
