How good does this finals series look.

There is not one game that is easy to tip, in previous years you had crappy teams finish 7th and 8th and get trounced because they were out of their league. But now look at it, anything can happen.

Yea the games all look pretty good...I was hoping we wouldnt land the Roosters in the first game but oh well...

In my opinion Bulldogs vs Warriors looks like the pick of the matches

I disagree partly, i think the games are going to be very one sided, if not highly entertaining.

I believe that Canberra will destroy Melbourne, no contest there. Penrith will embaress Brisbane, again no contest, and the Bulldogs will smash the Warriors who wont be able to hold the ball in the face of the Bulldogs defence.

One thing is for certain the games will be very physical.

As for the Knights game v the Rooters. Who ever wins the blue will take the game, i think it has all of the ingredients to be one of the most brutal games ever. You have got a lot of recent semi-final history between these two clubs, and the Knights after having a year go by will be expecting that the last 20 minutes this time wont be an intercept festival. It is the culmination of a years hard work for them, and irony has ensured they have been presented with the same scenario as last year. I think that alone will spark the boys to a victory.

just to let you know, melbourne have beaten canberra twice this season, so umm, the storm arent the easy beats you say they are.. And i am sure they will get close to 20k in canberra, they havnt had a home final in donkeys years so i would say it could get pretty packed.

Writing teh broncos off is just silly, they have so much experience there and i wouldnt be suprised at all if teh broncs gave the panthers a lesson in finals footy, i have a feeling the panthers are going to turn up and play a regular season game and not a finals game.

Oh and bulldogs beating the warriors? Have you not been watching the warriors bash teams apart in the last few weeks? They are the most in form top 8 team.

Raiders will draw 20 grand no problem. Nearly had 23 grand today. Last home semi was in 2000 I think. Our boys are due for a win against the Storm, we haven't played very well against these boys this year. In saying that the raiders have played excellent Rugby League on friday nights this year, and also on Saturday night in the 7.30 time slot. I'm confident we should weather the storm.

The Knights will have their work cut out for them. If there is a team in teh bottom 4 of the 8 that can beat the roosters though, it is the Knights. They are starting to come right into form now, and have won 3 out of 4 I think. All their big names are beginning to fire, and are proving that they can play footy without Joey. The Knights will need to match the roosters in defence, and Kurt Gidley's kicking game will need to be right on song. They can definately win this game, and surely the fact that it's do or die should boost them enough to get them over the line (hopefully).

If we play simple footy, cut down the mistakes, and Kidley can put in a good kicking game then I reckon we can beat the Rooster, one other proviso BK must play.

Can anyone tell me a story about BK? How did he go against the Cowboys? Any new injuries and is there much doubt about him playing this weekend?

Any news would be much appreciated - I was away for the weekend and am totally in the dark.

BK sat out the week. He has a foot injury, but he can play with the injury with a pain killing injection without risking permanent damage, they just didn't want to make it worse for a game that really meant nothing.

Ben Kennedy did not play against the Cowboys, as he was ruled out earlier in the week with a midfoot strain, but should return for the qualifying final against the Roosters (however, there is great doubt). Timana Tahu did not play either due to a knee injury, but he is also expected to return for the Roosters clash.

I'm not entirely certain if any injuries were attained in yesterday afternoon's clash against the Cowboys, as I have not heard anything at this stage, so I'm hoping we are A-OK in that department. The inclusion of Ben Kennedy & Timana Tahu in our line-up to face the Roosters, will significantly boost our chances of success. We have everything to gain.
