Crazy isn't it.

I think the fastest players looked so fast back then because there were so many slow players on the field.

Truly slow players just don't get to play first grade anymore, no matter how good they are.

I remember watching the game on TV at the time..Loved it then, and loved this snippet sent to me by my son. Sterlo and Brett has all the skills and Chicka was a great finisher...

Loved that Kenny try when he swerved through the gap and ran 50 metres , around the fullback.
I remember sitting up to all hours watching the game on TV , then that Sunday arvo , went to Belmore and watched a "spare parts team" led by Pricey ,Crowe , Ella and Liddiard carve up the Bulldogs 22-2 . One of the best footy days ever!
