Two and a Half Men is AWFUL. How people can mention shows like Seinfeld, et al in the same post as this show...good god...

HIMYM is pretty great, but it is Barney that totally makes the show. The other characters are okay...nothing brilliant.

As for best ever...The Nanny? Becker? Raymond? Taking the piss right?

Listen guys, I love that show a lot. BUT... it's not bar none. Two and a half men is up there too. In fact, for me, this is my preferred order...

1. Two and a half men
2. How I met your mother
3. Rules of engagement

In the past...

1. Everybody loves Raymond
2. Seinfeld
3. The Nanny
4. Becker

I absolutely hate two and a half men. Rules of engagement I get a laugh out of.

As for your all time, only one in that list that is remotely funny for me is seinfeld.

Raymond himself wasn't that funny, but the Dad and brother were a deadset crackup. Everytime Frank would say something, it would get a laugh from everyone!

Im sorry but Everybody loves raymond was the pits, that it ran for 9 years is a tragedy for good television.

And i wasnt exactly serious with my jump off a bridge comment, but fact remains that most of the shows listed by BF above were just dumb dumb american comedy shows. There is much funnier and cleverer stuff out there

Actually I've probably been a bit harsh in this thread, and watch what you want to watch i guess. I just get sick of so much dumb comedy being churned out, and in my eyes anyway everybody loves raymond passed the torch to two and a half men in that regard.
