Possible scenario in my mind- 1/2 way thru season Sheens declares this will be his last at WT, shifts to 'mentor' role whilst remaining at WT for last 1/2 of season and remains ARL coach. Folkes steps up for last 1/2 of season to head coach, Simmons reads the writing on the wall and quits since Teflon not there to as head coach.

I cannot imagine any scenario where he will be extended nor can I see him quiting early unless the team peforms miserably in first 1/2 of season and the agitation for his head extends to the WT boardroom and not just a significant portion of the fan base.

I've said it elsewhere here but Sheens has now mde the 2010 squad what he wants. Let him bear the responsibility for tis performance.

Can't see a bloke like Folkes being Mentored by anyone....

IMO if we are in the bottom half of the table mid season he will get the chop, folkes will come and try to turn the season...

But that won't happen as we will be top 4 mid season and sheens will get a 3 year extension

There is plenty of interest for him out in the market, believe it or not. So if things start looking grim he might just pull a Brian Smith, although, it doesnt seem like Sheens' style either.

Im sure Mr Sheens would have some excuse ie, injuries, still rebuilding from last years world cup loss blah blah blah (All his normal excuses) and all will be forgiven. I can see it now!

They're both up at the end of next season, I believe. Marshall signed a two year deal at the beginning of this year.

no he extended it for 2 more years. he was already signed for this year. so the extension is for 2010 and 2011.
