How many songs do you have on your computer or ipod or any other console?

I have over 2000 songs on my computer.

2030 odd on the pod.... not sure of the exact number.

I reduced that down from around 2500 to fit a couple extra movies on

Im currently mp3-ing my CD collection for a juke box hard disc and coupled with my downloads I will head into the 5000 + range.

Never realised how many songs you have when you rip all your albums/double albums!!!

Interesting stat....

I noted before I have around 2000 songs on my ipod. The actual number is 2058.

However, since february this year (when I changed to my ipod touch) I have only listened to 440 of them, and of that I have only listened to 137 of them more than once

The most listened to tracks on my ipod almost all come from a slow pop mix I use to put me to sleep (such gems like Halleluhah, over the rainbow by Isreal Ihavealonghawaiinsurname and simon and garfunkel).

Muse (live HAARP set), Daft Punk (musique Vol.1), Beach Boys (Summer Dreamin), and my own Classical music from the Movies mix are the most listened to albums. However having only added Ok Computer a month ago it is steaming up the list...

Seems I have a very eclectic taste in music but I seldom listen to any of it

I'd be interested to know what percentage of the songs people have listed to having on their hard drives they have actually listened to

Which is exactly why i only have 756 songs on my computer. I don't see the point in downdloading any old crap which i will probably never listen to. And it grows at probably only like 50 a month.

Good Point, I listen to mine at work so it gets a fair bit of play. approx 4000 have been listened to in the last 6 months. Just over 700 of the 5758 haven't been listened to in over a year.

Exactly why its a dumb argument when record companies say 1 billion songs were downloaded=1 billion lost sales as people download sh*t for free they would never buy in the first place.
