Curse channel nine for thinking 5 weeks ago plus that Souths would be where they are now....and the chooks would rebound from 56-0 to becoming a potenital top 8 hope (up until last week)

Try 3-4 weeks ago.

So the eels, bulldogs, tigers, dragons etc after years and years of relative success haven't been able to break 35k or so during the regular season.... and now after 12 wins we're expected to do so?

You had no doubt whatsoever last week.

35k would attend this game without a doubt.
Singing a different tune now i see.

18 years, and still you find excuses.

FMD. You claim all this sh*te about it being "figures bandied about" and then take a shot at Souths' last finals appearance.

Pathetic.

They should put up flyers around the city saying that Souths will get booted out of the comp if people don't show up for a protest rally at 5.30 on Saturday at Homebush.

move the game to suncorp if you want to raise crowd figures. QLDers do it right.

Close the thread, lets see how many turn up and then you can get out the knives.

Ink. Round 26, 2005. Wests Tigers vs Panthers. Crowd: 17,256.

So what?

Wheres the relevance?

We didnt spend the entire week prior telling Melb they should move their rd 25 home game against us to telstra and because we'd ....''without a doubt''.....get 30,000/40,000 to it.

Chalk n cheese.

So your point is that because Souths reckon they'd get another 10-20k vs the Tigers that they'd automatically get the same crowd vs the Roosters the following week in a worse timeslot?

LOL. Derive out of my post whatever you wish. Souths will bring 20,000 people on Saturday. We'll see how many Roosters show up.

It's our last game of the year so I'll be going and I don't mind the 5:30 timeslot as it means I'll get out of souless Homebush and back into Newtown at a reasonable hour to resume my drinking.:D
