As for Zillman- even though Simpson being the good guy he is saying what happens on the field stays on the field and probably knows Zillman could miss finals and feels bad for him so he wants to drop the allegation- unfortunately the evidence is there. He should get a few weeks at least.

Differences between Soward and Zillman.
1. Video evidence on Soward was weak and really needed a complaint from Ballin to be any chance of a guilty verdict. Without a statement from Ballin, there is no case.
2. Video evidence on Zillman was extremely damning and added to this were immediate screams from Simpson to the touchie.....he bit me , he f.....ing bit me. Then when play stopped he made an official complaint and the incident was put on report.
Zillman will be suspended as he should be. It was a deliberate bite. Morrin got 8 weeks and I suspect Zillman would be pretty worried about getting the same.

I'll never forget the Titans' whining when Mick Weyman (playing for the Raiders) stood toe to toe and popped the Titans' Daniel Conn with a great right hand. Cartwright claimed it was a "king hit" despite the two men squaring off face to face! It had the desired effect at the judiciary --- Weyman got the maximum.
