What a dumb move.
why not sign that kid that just in trouble at parramatta? He's a winger.
He just inked a new two year deal a few weeks ago.

We have the money to buy Jamie Lyon. We should buy Jamie Lyon!!!!

Still reckon we should chase Jake Webster.
Play Covell at fullback.
Simmons to the oranges, oops sorry the wing

To be honest, i don't know why everyone bags him out so much..
In my opinion, he is a solid player, who seems to be safe under the highball, can cut off chances for the other team with good reads in defence, can find his way to the tryline every now and then, and can also kick goals..
I'd at least keep him for depth reasons.. Wouldn't like to lose him.

NO NO NO to Hannay.

Surely our board have seen this crock play or should I say try to.

Cowboys will be laughing their heads off and once again we buy a dud.

AHAHAHAHA. You forgot that you stop associating with real women because internet p0r_n works out cheaper and less annoying. :p

On the Covell deal, I say keep him. Not the fastest guy and does make a blue or two but God knows Peach had a brain explosion once in a while. Not directly comparing the two, but Covell has enough ability to fight for a spot. He would probably in the same vein as Bailey which means we do need one fast centre urgently. But he is a good reader of the game and good support player. safe as a bank under a high ball and makes more breaks than by rights he should. Albert wont be round for ever and we have to actually find some one more reliable first. IMO none of the cowboy hacks fit that bill and we should be gunning for a quailty import. I heard quinn from the Knights may head to Melbourne (not sure how reliable this source is) so maybe Webster is looking for a new home.

Well the Roosters have told Cross to beat it and I personally would like to see him in a Sharks jersey, not sure if we are a chance though, he mentioned the other night on NRL on Fox that he doesn't really want to play for any other NRL team.

Well that and the fact you would be paying 300K plus for a centre who is injury prone and gets suspended!

The question is not how much Covell should be paid, but how much he should pay for the privilege of playing in the NRL.

I reckon he should pay $2 for everyone who turns up to every game he plays in, as compensation to those unfortunate enough to watch him play. This is only reasonable.

It's a shame some people give Covell the ridiculous raps that he gets cause it just makes peanuts like yourself despise him. As a few other forummers once mentioned its all about forum balance.....now f**k off you westy scum

FFS relax it was a joke. Just as all the deliberate Covell-rooting posts are also humorous. I know that the raps are a gee-up, just as my post was intended. Have a f**king cry. I certainly don't "despise" the guy.

In fact, I actually rate Covell - I think he's a decent winger, certainly he is physically strong and makes some good decisions on the field, and I think a good asset in any team. I probably think more of him than most of your fellow fans. So... go easy on the personal insults - or else I'll have to respond by calling you a f**king tool!
