sounds the same as 2006. Or when my brother said Manly are "premiership certanties" after leading the comp 3 weeks into the 2005 season. We all know how those 2 campaigns ended up ;-)

Your brother obviously has NFI what he is going on about, quite similar to you! :p! Anywho, I expect we'll be in around the top 4 all year, and make a burst come playoff time..

Nar, in all honesty, I think we'll finish 5th in 2007. ;-)

Manly will get 30 points. Finish about 6th IMO. You will start off the season with a bang as usual, then you'll drop your ass and make up the numbers. Yet again, you won't see past Finals week 2.

Yep my brother has NFI. As do ALL manly fans ;-) just kidding dude

We should definately learn from the last two years. Even if we stay consistent the whole comp I'm happy. It just sh*ts me to tears when you start off so promising, then drop your bundle as we did in 2005. However, 2006 was definately an improvement but those three losses against Newcastle, Cronulla and the Broncos in succession hurt us dearly. I think Des needs to start taking a firmer stance with the players. If they aren't performing, CUT them to PL for a week or two. We've got good enough players in PL to blood in 2007 and I really hope Des doesn't get stuck in his usual ways of keeping Williamson and Dunley in the team when they aren't performing.

its called over-achieving. When you have players like Watmoo challenging for an origin jumper you are DEFINATELY playing beyond your standard

He was playing injured half the season you GOOSE! He'll back bigger and stronger in 2007, I have no doubt. Good old Choco will be pushing for an origin jersey in 07. He'll be fine!
