That's your point of view BTR. It's not necessarily correct, just what YOU think is correct. IMO I think you're opinion is absolute BS. Latu got us going, really carved up the opposition. Kinga is solid but won't have the same thrust that Latu does. Hutch is best when he can have 10 min bursts.
What's wrong with bringing on a fresh set of legs for a tiring prop in the dying minutes FFS?
I admit Raper has made some silly moves with interchange before but tonight was spot on IMO.

What is the shuffle with Simmons/Albert, interchnaging at the back, just settle on which one is the fullback.

I was fuming it took so long for Kelly to get a run. I could accept Bailey starting in the centres IF he was only there for the 1st 20-30min. Not bagging Bailey but WHY would u leave a center on the bench for so long? Crazy!

Actually Latu isn't a bad defender imo. He packs a almighty punch for a little bloke. I liked the move of taking Ross of moving Gallen up and Kinga to the backrow. Made us quicker around the middle for all those little merkins they have and we still had the grunt to match power with them with guys like Thomo, Gallen, Williams and co.

Latu did cost us 6 points in the first half when he didn't go to dykes on the last and tried to run it but.

Kelly on the bench for so long was f**ked and what was worse was he played Kelly in the backrow and left Bailey in the centres! Surely that was the point of picking Kelly over a backrower in PL.

Our forwards set up the win for us tonight BTR they just dominated the park and our backs did there job well of the back of this.

Do you have any stats on how many tackles Latu attempts, bearing in mind his game time as a sub is limited. He does pack a punch, as another person mentioned before. Like it or not Latu gets into dummy half, and once every set of six or so gets the opposition on the back foot. It doesn't matter if he breaks the line or not, sometimes a line bending run is just as effective.

Our best defender is Ross? Is that in your stats too? He is pretty slow as I'm sure you'd admit, much like Stevo, and when he gets to a player he can influence proceedings. Latu has line speed, was fresh and more importantly he is agile! The final moments of the game required that, not a tired prop.

TBH I don't take too much notice of the stats, I pay more attention to what goes on when the guys play.

Hutch got taken off when he was injured.
