How Raper did his best to lose that match.

Raper should be reprimanded for having a centre on the bench for 65mins...and two utility types as well (bird and latu)...its too much pressure on the big blokes although they did an amazing job and have been all year IMO.

I thought Latu did well when he came on, and he came on in an ok time for us but then he was benched real soon again just as we started to get going in attack...

Simmons and Covell still give me nightmares...especially the former...

Above all, am thankful for a win at home against a bloody good team.

We are all being a bit critical here. Can I point 1 thing out. The Sharks kept the Cowboys scoreless in the second half. The Cowboys did play poorly but we contributed to their bad performance by some good defence, especially from Vagana with some try saving tackles. The Knights couldn't do it and they were 2nd on the table. Two tries were scored by the Cowboys from freakish errors. Brett Kearney through a Kimmorley Origin pass, and a Thurston kick that was too good. Mind you in saying that Covell coverage has a lot to be desired

I thought Covell had a pretty good game to be honest.

I can't recall them making many handling errors in the 2nd half and it sounded like they played OK

Glad he contributed in some way - was hardly sighted in attack and came up with a brain explosion in the dying stages

It sounded like Covell went well tonight

Still comes in too often when the inside men have the situation under control.

Tonight feels like we won the grand final - A sad indication of what I was expecting....

Still a long way to go. But a good team bounces back after a flogging and out ball handling was the best it has been all year.

So once more for the bar maid who was throwing ice at me...." We are the Champions my friend.... ANd we'eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelll keep on fighting til the end...."

Geezus kreist he does some dumb things.
Again, 1st half we were on a roll & he changes Kinga for latu. Immediately a mistake & immediately a try from poor marker work when Kinga had been doing an excellent job.
Same half , he brings hutch on for 10 minutes then takes him off. WTF?

Then, he brings Kelly with only 18 left on the clock.

then, he takes off our best defender in Ross & puts one of our worst in latu!!!!!

Surely there was somebody else he could have rotated with Latu?

Summa those interchanges had me scratching my head too, Blacktip.:?

I thought Latu made some incisive runs when he came on, and I'm not his biggest fan. His discipline and mistake rate have improved from the Newcastle trial. The team went missing in the ten minutes before half time. That's when we nearly lost the match.

Frenzy.

This is all correct except the bit about Latu IMO. In a later post reef you say he only made 1 LB, so how did that get us going.

Well his other stats tell that. 5 runs for 67 metres with 3 offloads. If he can keep getting 13-14 metres per run and get an offload away 60% of the time he's doing well.

I fairly convinced that Raper uses the bench only when he remembers it's there to be used. It's so random.

There are still quite a few other things that were poor in this performance. Things that will cost us against 100% switched on teams. The Cows weren't.

Those are things are for a later post

They won, against enormous odds and you will still look for the negatives.
What sort of supporter are you, what does he (Raper) have do to please a wanker like you.

A profile of Blacktip- (Never meet you but he goes.)

20 plus, overweight , couch potato, probably never laced on a football boot in his short miserable life
