How the hell did Scott Prince get picked for Origin

He looks good in attack but his defense his woeful. He was personally responsible for three of the first four manly tries today. That takes his tally to 6 for the last two games. As for Elford ... the worst defensive centre in the game. He couldnt read as play if they gave him the playbook. A guy on debut, Collis, showed him how to pick a man and stick with him.

How f**ken bad is Payten. He is like Corey Pearson but without the occasional good hit up

Well said. Prince was appauling today. Though I thought their first try was Collis' fault if you are blaming Prince for that one...

Prince has had a shocker after all 3 origins, it's not surprising he didn't have a great game.

Prince's defense has been poor for a long time. He actually looked okay in attack today but our handling meant he was never given a real chance. I still think he holds the ball a fraction too long, and it doesnt help when Sattler plays as the link man. For some reason I have never seen the ball go from Prince straught to a backline player

Princey's probably the only one who could be excused for an off game coming off origin......by the way, why did he go off the field in the second half, did sheens pull him from the field?

Im not to sure why he was pulled off. He got pulled off after he let in a Manly try. So either Sheens pulled him because he wasnt performing or he pulled him off to rest him because the game was over

Prince was terrible, he hasn't played well for the tigers for a while, if we had better options prince would be lucky to hold his spot, first we score no points when he is the half back then we lose to manly only scoring the majority of our points at the end...

I have come to the conclusion that Prince should play at 6.People have been sayiong it,well now I am a believer. When he played wider(getting serviced by Satts)we actually looked dangerous.

He needs the axtra room to move.Witha bit of space he can carve up.Next year Id be thining of playing Benji 7 and Prince 6.

And I see some bickering about Payten, and I agree thast his running game is below par,but have a look at his defense. He is a bone rattler and several droppped Manly balls came from hits by him.

Cheers.

You are a joke - Payten was one of our better players yesterday..even though that's not saying too much....but he actually put effort in.....diving on loose balls, throwing passes for tries.....he's not the play maker - you think all forwards need to be A Johns in a huge body....fact is, he actually tried something.....something Prince fails to do enough

Collis didn't do too much to impress me.....no one did yesterday.....Halatau would kick his @$$ at centre

Did anyone see the spark go into the attack when Hodgson was given some responsibility to create something down the edges?

Prince ISN'T a risk taker......and a halfback needs to make split-second decisions and go with them....without that spontaneity and diverse style of a game we will continue to serve up the boring and repeated, hit it up, play it, hit it up, play it style that we have now...........we need to bring up some new forwards and halves combos, just to make some of the first graders crap their pants and bring their boots to the game, ready next time

i gotta say though with Prince off the field our attack looked very one dimensionable, all through Hodgson.
