I will show you how to save videos from youtube.
You will have to download one thing tho for this to work. You will need to download Total video converter....OR another video file converter.
This program is FREE but is only a 15 day TRIAL. There are other free programs out there that do the same thing...you will have to find those yourself tho.

Once you have done that and installed it....its time to get to work!
We will be using this clip during the tutorial...it is Billy Slater being dunked in some water at the Storm fan day.

1. Select the video you want to save. Use the one above for this tutorial.
2. Cut or copy the URL which is in the address bar, in this case it is:

3. Now go to this site:
http://keepvid.com/
4. now paste the youtube video's URL in the bar at the top of Keepvid.com.
5. Next to that long bar there is a drop done menu...drop down and select 'Youtube'.
6. Now press download which is next to the drop down bar.

8. After pressing download there will be a loading spot just under the bar....it will say
After it has loaded it will say "download link", It tells you to right click and save target as...but if using firefox you will need to right click select properties and then copy the address and paste it in your internet browser.
9.when it has been pasted in the internet browser press enter. A save as box will pop up with the video which is titled "Get_video" if using firefox click 'save to disk..NOW READ THIS PART CAREFULLY, when you press save to disk your file box will appear...the file name is 'get_video' what you have to do is type in ".flv" after "get_video". So it will now look like this:
10. Make sure you take note of what folder it is in...then press save.
11. Now open up Total Video covnerter...which you downloaded at the start. it will ask you to register, if you want to pay to register then its up to you if not just press "i want to try it more". Now that TVC is open...click new task>then select import files. Now find the video file you saved...remember it will be named "get_video.flv".once you have found the video file double click it...a window will now open asking you what file you would like to convert it to...select MPEG, or whatever other file you prefer. Now click "convert now"
12. It will ask you if you want register agian...if you want to then go ahead if not press "i want to try more". After you do that it will then save the video in Mpeg format and save it in the C:\Program Files\Total Video Converter folder...then go to the converted folder and your video is in there!
