Like all the roosters players were saying yesterday.
Better not to be in it than lose it.

Exactly.

'85, '92, '93 (St George can't play!! ) , '96, '99...

It adds up to a lot of hurt!!

Warren Ryan once said that to win the Grand final you have to have at least 6 internationl reps in your team. At the Sharks, we never had that

Gower, Girdler, Lewis, Clinton, Waterhouse, Gulavao, Puletua =7

Apologies to Paul Whatuira. 8.

Its pretty obvious that that this is just a kick in the balls for the sharks roster!

At the start of penriffs season their roster consited of a small handful of ex rep players, and a bunch of young blokes about to play their second season who had a bit of 'promise'! ................sound familiar?!

If anything, it shows that you DONT need 6-7 internationals on your roster to win a comp......................The panfers played themselves into test jerseys after a freakish year, but they were by no means a team with 6-7 Aus reps back in march..

Well hey, at least we can say we have been second best at 85, 92, 93, 96, 99.

But all the sharks can say is they have been second best 78 and 73, hardly a comparison and its ober 20 years ago.

Does anyone else see the irony of a Drags fan suggesting that other people live in the past?

She conveniently forgot 1997 too.

The Sharks have gone closer to winning the comp than the St George Illawarra Dragons have.

Whats the score between the clubs anyway? 8 wins, 3 losses, 1 draw I believe?
