STRENGTHS: For years now, the Power have been the most even side in the comp, and have possessed genuine depth (as highlighted by their ability to consistently finish high on the ladder despite carrying injuries to many key players). The side remains dangerous at home and can still open-up sides with swift ball movement, as was the case several times in 2005.
WEAKNESSES: Its hard to believe that this side was the premier a mere 18 months ago. Its overall talent stocks have diminished in that time and it larggely looks tired and old these days. The side is worryingly dependent on Tredrea up forward and would hope that the star's early injury woes are not setting the tone for his season to come. Nowhere near enough match winners on offer at the club.
PREDICTION: Its definitely going to be "down, down, deeper and down" for Port over the next few years.
Port Adelaide - 14th
