STRENGTHS: The Roos have a very even side across the park and don't lack for experience. They have a very strong forward set up containing several tall and powerful footballers, mixed with the silky skills of Grant & Wells. The midfield is tradesmanlike, but effective and the side usually maintains a potent level of spirit. The club has been criticised for its draft performances over the last couple of years, but I thought they didn't fare too badly over the last trade period.
WEAKNESSES: While the size of their big forwards can be a plus, it can also work against them against talented and mobile defences. The midfield drops away markedly after the first few players and the side lacks players who can win games off their own boots.
PREDICTION: Not likely to improve on last year, but would appear equally unlikely to drop away either.
