How will the Roosters do against St Helens?

Next Friday the Sydney Roosters will be at St Helens to play the once powerful St Helens team.

St Helens were good last year, but last night they got smashed by lowly Salford, who had Michael Dobson and Robert Lui in the halves, and former Rooster and now Someone Else's wife-pumper Justin Carney on the wing.

Looks like a cake walk to me, especially with Jayden Nikorima at half back.

I hadn't been following Saints' decline and assumed they were still a powerhouse up there, but hearing their poor form we might now be in with a shot.

If we hadn't lost both our main halves, I'd be confident, but with all the injuries it's gonna be tough.

Are all games on tele ?, I don't have foxtel :/

7am Saturday morning Roosters vs St Helens game. Broadcast on delay at 12 noon on Fox Sports 3 HD
7am Sunday Brisbane vs Wigan. Broadcast on delay at 12 noon on Fox Sports 3 HD
5am Monday Nth Queensland vs Leeds. Broadcast on delay at 12 noon on Fox Sports 3 HD.

You better find a pub or bar on Saturday that has Fox Sports and go watch it.

Saints were without some key players, including hooker and captain James Roby, full back Johnny Lomax, one of their centres, and Aussie five eighth Travis Burns, when they lost so badly to Salford. Don't know if those players will be back against the Roosters.

Pretty much all St Helens fans agree with you. Those that will be watching on TV will be doing so from behind their sofa. If Saints win, it would be as big an upset as when they beat Brisbane Broncos in their pomp.

That is a ridiculous situation. The Nine network needs to stop its penny pinching contempt for viewers of rugby league.

The federal govt needs to jump all over Ch 9 and MAKE it show rugby league on its normal ch9 station...not GEM, not any other fancy tv system.

Turnbull should do something useful and belt ch9.

What's with coach Robinson giving away his coaching secrets/game plan after the match in detail...on tv for the world to see?
I couldn't believe what I was seeing and hearing.

He really should stop doing that...for obvious reasons.

Tell nothing...give the other coaches and teams nothing.

Pommy RL fans on other websites thought Trent Robinson was brilliant. They wish that their own coaches could be half as good.

It's nothing opposition coaching staff wouldn't already know or notice.

Thought it was great TV.

I loved the analysis by Robbo and Wells. Our dopey commentators out here could learn a thing or two from that. Problem is only Sterlo would up to doing that sort of analysis with a first grade coach and actually make it watchable.

Loved Robbos reaction when asked about Jayden Nikorima as well, obviously has very high opinion of him.
