How will the Roosters do against St Helens?

I loved the analysis by Robbo and Wells. Our dopey commentators out here could learn a thing or two from that. Problem is only Sterlo would up to doing that sort of analysis with a first grade coach and actually make it watchable.

Loved Robbos reaction when asked about Jayden Nikorima as well, obviously has very high opinion of him.

You guys will be very tough to beat in Round 1.

You're without Pearce, JWH, Cordner

Souths without George, Keary and most likely Grevs too.

I wouldn't be shocked if you guys win.

We were solid against weaker opposition, our defence was really good didn't miss a tackle in the opening 40mins and our ball control was also very good.

Our forwards belted theirs in defence, Napa V Walmsley was good to watch, our meters post impact were good, and our middle held ground most sets.

Good to see the kids all get into the action with Nikorima a stand out, Hastings was everywhere and into everything and Latrell Mitchell, this kid has me excited and not cause of his bare arse.

2016 is not the forlorn period it was some weeks ago.

Chook.

Roosters went a hell of a lot better than expected against St Helens, but Souths will be an entirely different challenge.

The 109 year war continues

Good for you guys as Tom Burgess is out for about 6 weeks.

Keary and George suspended.

Grevsmuhl in extreme doubt.

I'm not confident. It should be a close one.

With both Burgess twins out the Roosters forwards will have a field day, even though missing JWH and Cordner. Souths don't have the depth in their forward pack that the Roosters have.

Moreover, with Luke Keary out, Jayden Nikorima will carve up Souths.

Congratulations again to Trent Robinson. He has recruited brilliantly despite the massive losses of RTS and Maloney.

The Roosters have a better team overall but we have a better spine coming into next Sunday's match.

If we are to win we're gonna need big games from Sam, GI and Reynolds.
