I want to hear from all the brain merchants on this site how the JV will survive if Balmain, Wests Campbelltown & Ashfield end their support contracts in 2005?????

Any one got any ideas?

The mail (nothing official mind) is that Ashfield have already agreed in principal to re-up.

Simple, it won't. The Joint-Venture will fold, and i doubt very much that both Balmain and the Magpies will be able to stand Alone if they can't even equally fund a Joint-Venture agreement.

Perhaps a Private Ownership option would be worth looking at, but then again, you have to have an investor who is keen, and will be in a comanding position, meaning due to lack of funding from the 3 Leagues clubs, the investor will have more of a say (possbily more than 50% stake in the club). Therefore it could turn out like the proposed 'Crazy John Sea Eagles' fiasco

private ownership will be the only option for all the sydney clubs gobbs if this dickhead tax goes through we should be worrying more about the future of the clubs 1st before we woryr bout te future of the team

2005 is just a touch too early for my finances to kick into play and for me to buy the team

I think you must have small man's syndrome........ My question is intended to wake up some of the smarter brainwashed JV supporters (no you didn't quite make the grade) as to where the JV is going........ please do not waste everyones time with your special school answer, it is best that you spend your time colouring in something......

What would happen if Parra Leagues pulled their support of the football club? Or any leagues club of their football club?
Looks like its just Melb,Brisbane and North Qld comp in the future. But what if News Ltd pulls their support of those clubs?
Oh no, the death of league!!!

The last time you tried to forecast the future you had a wooden spoon going to Campbelltown. Try again...........

You must have had a miserable season Tigger. Wests Tigers have earnt the respect of all good judges by their exciting play, and even if they bomb out in the finals, they have given the fans a ton of enjoyment.

It’s been a really enjoyable 2005.

And yours?

What is interesting is that there has only been one sensible answer to Tiggers question. It might be a pointless question but then again it might have some merit....

Piss off you imbecile, there's nothing interesting about it.

His club has since merged and your club whores itself out annually.

The Tigers are still there.....

The question is from a gormless prat who hides when the Wests Tigers are going well.

He hasn't been here for a while......

Oh what a surprise.... More personal attacks.

Tigger doesn't seem to be hiding now that the Wastes Tigers are in the top four, thus the question in the first place?
Balmain and Wests not being whores when they merged?????? At least the Newtown name, colours and tradition have survived against the best efforts of the NSWRL.

Just answer the question. How would the Wastes tigers survive if all your leagues clubs can't put up after the Pokie tax comes in?
