With both the NRL and UK clubs mostly having settled on their players rosters for season 2007,what chance do the Robins have?

I hope they do stay up being such a traditional club reminds a bit of Souths with all there past success, however it would be very tough will be battleing it out with wakey for the drop imo..

Past experience suggests they will struggle to adjust to the faster pace of ESL and won't have adequate cover for injuries. Their best chance could be if the wheels come off elsewhere. I agree with Mr Bash though, Wakey have a lot of experience of surviving.

They'll throw everything at whoever is left and considering a change of clubs in order to bolster their stocks and depth. Promotion is a hard ask, as Castleford's experiences this season proved.

In reality it's hard to stay up unless someone (other than Catalans) performs below expectations. This season nobody really did (save Wigan for the first half of the year), so Castleford head straight back down.

Would they be after Ryan McGoldrick as well?

Indeed he has - you can check the ins and outs thread for that ;)

This is the mystery of the current P&R system though - what quality players are still available to make Hull KR competitive?

As well what sort of finances would the club have as well to afford any quality players?

There is a fair bit of income at stake for getting into SL - the Sky Sports loonies had been describing the NL1 GF as a 'million pound match'.

Certainly though Hull KR won't be able to spend as much on the cap as the majority of other clubs.

Rovers would be on a par with the likes of Wakefield and Salford regards spending power . They have always been less well supported from a fan and financial aspect than Hull F.C. I would have thought Hull F.C. would have any major backers in the area. Ironically a few years back they were sponsored by a waste management company
