Sydney scored three quality goals today, showing the A-League is a better quality than it's given credit for....

That's the sad part about it. The quality of the league is higher than it has been in ages, there's a good collection of quality players, Fowler's in red hot form, and the competition is quite tight across the board.

Poor management, public apathy, and the frustrating comparisons to the Premier League are hurting the league.

two decent crowds yesterday though, 10k for the kiwis at the sfs is a par crowd based on history, anytime perth top 10k it's good, but the loss will probably hurt their next crowd

In Canberra? True. There's a small group there I saw called the Capital Punishment supporters club. There'd be lucky to be 5 of them.

Kinda hard to drum up interest and support for a team that doesn't exist, and thanks to the corrupt, incompetent and f**king stupid FFA probably won't for at least 5 years.

f**kwit.

Canberra fans' decisions to 'boycott club football in response to being overlooked' is just as geniused as the Central Coast's treatment of rugby league on the coast because they lost their Bears. Nothing says 'include us' like showing no interest.

i think you could also blame the fact that there was a music festival and octoberfest on on the same day at the same time.

also. i didnt exactly see canberra flooded with advertising for the match.

but yeah the "f**k you" factor may have played a part.
