I can cook pretty well. I can make stuff like pavlovas from scratch and souffles. I have to iron my work clothes which turn out alright and I can sew simple things like a badge onto a hat and buttons.

I think I'm in love

Cooking is simple. I prefer to cook at home then the meals we have to cook at work -- aged people are so fussy :|

Heres a good one to impress that's not too hard, carbonara (made properly with eggs, not cream).

You need; fettucini, eggs, spring onion, garlic, cracked pepper, bacon, mushrooms, fresh grated parmesan, parsley, onion.

Heat a large pot with plenty of olive oil for the pasta (fettucine tends to stick) and salt it lightly.
Fry the onion, mushies and bacon (in that order) in olive oil.
In a large bowl place a couple of eggs, garlic, parsley, chopped spring onion (diagonally is good) and cracked pepper. Whisk it (fork will do) and then add a couple of handfuls of the cheese (I never measure anything).
When the pasta is cooked, drain it in a colander quickly and then put it back in the pot you used. Throw in the rest of the ingredients and stir until the cheese is melted (the heat from the pot should do that & cook the egg slightly).
Serve immediately - YUMMO!
