I could never support a team like Cronulla

fmd Dragons fans are hypocrites. Soward does the exact same thing that they've spent the last year or two crying about Slater doing, and they defend him/deny it even happened.

So to sum this thread up:

Because Soward from St George either kicked or didn't kick Inglis from Melbourne in the head, I could never support a team like Cronulla.........

same thing with the Storm and the arrogance  not all fans, though... but that's the difference isn't it? much more noticeable with regards to a smaller fanbase..

I'll slow it down for you, or type a synopsis in case you are too lazy to read the thread.

I have stated that soward did not kick Inglis in the head, I have stated his leg made contact with inglis chin. IMO this is not a kick.

Clear enough.

hahaha
it was a fuggen kick .

I think the 8 point penalty try kind of gives it away.

Take your Soward manlove goggles off.

Soward lead with his feet in an attempt to stop a try. Dragons fans defend it/deny it.
Slater leads with his feet in an attempt to stop a try. Dragons fans lead the whinging and complaining.
How f**king difficult is it?

Nice and slow, I am NOT, I repeat, I am not defending his actions.

I am simply saying he did not kick big game in the head. When a player makes initial contact with a foot to a players head, it deserves a suspension. If Soward decides to fight this charge he may well get a week for his actions.

Massive difference.

Soward cleared to play

August 3, 2009 - 2:29PM

In-form St George Illawarra five-eighth Jamie Soward is free to play against Penrith on Friday night despite being charged with kicking by the NRL match review committee.
Soward received a grade-one dangerous contact infringement for lashing out with his foot in attempt to stop Melbourne centre Greg Inglis from scoring a try on Friday night.
The charge carries a 100-point penalty, though that would be reduced to 75 points with an early guilty plea.

take it up with them.

When did I say anything about you? I said "dragons fans".
In the thread about it on the Merge forum there are loads of posters defending it, denying it, diverting attention to the Inglis "choke", and even bringing up "that grub Slater"

No probs.

I can understand why the "choke" has been spoken of, however does not impact on his actions. Should take the early guilty plea.

I think they are all valid reasons for not being able to support Cronulla.

Slater the kicker, Soward the kneer, Johnsy .... just cannot support Cronulla

Well it's matter of opinion then. Why are you getting so uptight about it?

As I said in the other thread about this, no-one can condone biting. If Ballin made a complaint Soward should have got a very lengthy stint on the sidelines.

Because you believe he had a go at him?
