I Feel Embarrassed and its only Round 2!!!

With a decent first half performance against the Broncos and then to capitulate in the 2nd half like a shool boy team is p;lain embarrassing for all us supporters!! there is something drastically wrong w our team..

The Coach has to go along with 2-3 top grade players now!!! we need to put some sting in our tails and the only way is to make some drastic changes and put all players on warnings..

These are the changes I would make immediately along with some strategic on the run recruitment for this year and next!

1. Sack the coach now!!- Bring in Sheens (hard nose coach)
2. Sack to Cutters immediately Soward, Fein, Cooper (they are pathetic)
3. Elevate Vidot, Cummings, Drinkwater
4. Sign Dugan Now (X Factor)
5. Sign Norman and Williams as our halves next year.,...throw $400k ea at them - whatever it takes!!

Bring some young kids now and blood them....we are bereft of structure and enthusiasm....the defence was a disgrace in the 2nd half....a top team would've put 30 on us in the 2nd half!!

No time to wait its quite evident we are lost!! it aint gonna get better!

I agree with most of your points here. The team is struggling because of Soward and Fein. Cooper and Chase Stanley are both very ordinary and too slow. We need definate spark and enthusiasm. Evander will bring that in bucket loads. Bronson Harrison is woeful and thinks tackle is something you take fishing. Yes maybe we do need Dugan, but if you were Dugan would you want to come to the Dragons?? At the moment, probably not.

from an outsiders perspective you guys are giving 100% your just not good enough. Perfect time to be blooding some youngsters for the future. Give drinkwater the experience now. But I guess Price has to win to keep his job.

Chase back pedaling most times and Cooper too slow now. Fien penalty was a killer could have taken the lead may have been different ball game ,but that's now tomorrows fish/ chips wrapper.....it is now obvious that whatever Price was preaching during off-season in attack and structure goes out the window on game day , if there are any positives is nobody was injuries the rest is crap

- Have no doubt that if we bought Drinkwater in tomorrow, within 2 weeks people would want him sacked too.. those people will need a kick in the pants, because we need to drop in between 1-3 young kids soon, they are going to struggle, and they need a few months to find their feet (Green is an example last year, ppl wanted his head).

- As a club we have not progressed in 12 months, thats not cool, there is no point trying to be positive, its just delaying the necessary change. Kyle Stanley should have been given a shot at #7 early last year, he got it instead with a few weeks left in the season and our spot in the finals virtually over.

- Notice a trend with Fien & Drinkwater in 2013? There has to be something going on in the club, Price is either under direction, or he is very stubborn.. you can understand that he hasnt got much time to produce wins before he gets the axe, but he got the call wrong before the season even started (again), and his career will seemingly live and die by that decision.

I tried to stay positive but FMD we are a shamble. Like previously said we should have had Kyle in the halves last year. Now we got these two has beens running the show. We'll be lucky to not get the wooden spoon

Price said that they worked hard in the offseason on attack. Tonight it showed. How embarrassing. They had so much ball and played against a team that were dead on their feet with Hodges off or injured half the game yet still could not score. That is just embarassing.

I honestly thought Saints cannot get any worse than last year....Geez was I wrong.

it's not the losses but how we're losing and the painfull reality that price can see it but will still persist with the same side week in week out,you have to admit fien was atrocius soward not much better?

Press conference will have been the same ole it's just the execution which let us down - in other words I (Price) am doing everything right, the players are just not following the plan.
It's damning that everyone in the NRL, including last night's commentators, know that Fein's days as a half are long gone - I was saying it last year but realise telling forumers anything they didn't already know. That's everyone except Steve Price. Drinkwater needs to be put in, and told he has at least seven or eight games to find his feet. And I'd ove to see Cummins in the 1 with Beale taking over from Cooper in the backs. Have loved Coops as a player but it is painful to see how pedestrian he has become. Would like to see Soward with Drinkwater before deciding whether he is a problem or not. We still need Sowie's kicking game. With the possession, field position and pressure we created last night any decent attack would have scored at least 20 points, a very good attack would have scored 30-plus. It's damning.
