I have a good feeling about this game

Well boys............. we have lost our last 3 games in which we probably should have won, pressure is starting to mount and it doesnt get any easier when we come against the Roosters on friday nite. I said last week if we lose this game (Vs Cowboys) we will beat the Roosters cos we will be desperate and after watching a very very poor effort I thought well they r going to be ridden sooo hard this week and having to put up with knights fans being extremely disappointed with em. Now I hear ppl say, "Oh Roosters will win easily" Well i dont think so! I mean when u think about the players we will have back in:

Timana Tahu
Matthew Gidley (in his preferred position)
Danny Buderus

I dunno bout BK, Boozy and Parso, but still its an improved side.

The Roosters team....well most of em will be tired as hell with :

Anthony Minichiello
Chris Flannery
Craig Fitzgibbon
Craig Wing
Brett Finch
Brad Fittler........ backing up from Wed Night

While Hodges and Morley are still serving suspension.

I think we will rise 2 the big game once again and defeat the Roosters or at least compete up until the final minute.

GO THE KNIGHTS!!!

Hmm, I sure as hell hope you're right. I'm just hoping the boys actually show some effort against the Goosters. I'm sick of us putting in very poor performances.

Our losing streak surely has to end sometime..lets all hope it's this week. I somehow doubt it though.

I've got some feeling in stomach as well. And they always play better against strong teams. Only concern is Origin on Wed night.

I just want them to play with pride - a win would be nice - but a good game is all i ask.

You know what disappoints me about the Knights

They LIFT for the big games.

We beat the Dogs and Broncos yet couldn't beat parramatta and the friggen cowboys

I know they will be fired up this friday night.

But why can't they for ALL games :?:

I'm sorry but I'm sick of this.
THERE IS NO EASY TEAMS IN 2004!

Cowboys have been on the improve for a couple of yrs now. Melbourne are not the wash over they used to be either.... and it was half obvious that Parra would come out on fire after what happened with their fans.
They were never going to be easy wins and I'm sick of everybody saying that they are.

Now onto the Roosters game... I have a feeling we can win this one. we will have some players coming back... hopefully Ennis is at 5/8 and can take some pressure off Kurt. We just need to take it easy and defend really well and stop the Roosters from putting points on us.

I think the answer for this game would be all in Kurt Gidley, get the small chip over kicks and get half the team (i say half the team because you still need some to be prepared for defence) to stay running with him, as you know some rooster if not most will be tired so Kurt should have a short kicking game and run then if mini is ther he can pass.

thats theory 1

Now the other thing to do is make sure you have possesion against them keep the long kicking game up when they are in there own 30 and look for some space to run and make the ball bounce out, if they can do that i beleive the score line can end with a 22-16 victory. Thats my prediction, what do youse think ?

Id like to say that I have a good feeling about it but I dont.
They are fearsome in defence, alot better than the cows and we struggled to get our asses off the ground against them.
I really dont like the old attitude of 'Oh well-we improved and they didnt flog us "
Thats "back in the day' stuff but I think that all we can hope for and move on.

The reason we didnt score against them was because of the errors, and we are missing lots of players, And you have to admit that the Cowboys came into the game with a good attitude, and the knights seem to have the "they are crap so we dont need any effort".

I think everyone is forgeting round 6 where we came within a whisker of beating the roosters, a similar effort and we may just beat them. Teams that come off embarrassing losses usually come out and win the following week. Now the Roosters got flogged in their last game and will no doubt be tough 2 beat but no one thought we could beat the Bulldogs did they? No one thought we could beat Brisbane did they? We will win this game and get our season back on track u wait and see

Will we have a team??

1. O'Davis
2. Quinn
3. M.Gidley (if he is fit, some doubt he'll even play origin)
4. Carmont
5. Tahu (if he is fit, past record says it's 50-50)
6. Ennis (lets hope he finally gets a go there, hope Kidley lets him do the majority of the kicking)
7. Kidley (needs the forwards to give him some space to work with)
8. Perry (Needs to lift his game from his very ordinary recent form)
9. Buderus ( fingers crossed he makes it through origin)
10 Parso
11 Price (is he fit)
12 Newton
13. B.Kennedy ( will he make an appearance? I hope so)
14. Brown
15 M.Kennedy
16. Price (is he fit?)
17. Tanner

If that team takes the field with the attitude they usually have when coming up against the more favoured teams then we'll give the Goosters a real Shake. Very important that Benny, and Buderus play. Even more importantly that Perry Parsons and c/o get some go forward, if not then we'll get a flogging (please don't let that happen against this lot) One bonus is they will have a lot backing up from origin, and they have a few out suspended, I hate relying on stuff like that, it'd be great to beat them fair and square with both sides at full strength, but that hasn't been the case for a few years now, and that's a shame, these two sides have built up a fair rivalry over the last few years.
