As much as I love Billy at fullback I think we need to blood Turner into the side. As electric as he is, he hasn't been receiving enough ball and can do so if he goes into the centres.

Turner
Cooper
Bell
Slater
King
Geyer
Orford
Kearns
Smith
Chan
Robinson
Kidwell
Hill

Johnson
Hoffman
Scott
Mcdougall

I doubt that would be the team and quite frankly I doubt that team would win many games. Slater has to be fullback. He's explosive when he gets some room to move. In the centres his room will be limited.

Hill should stay at 5/8th until there is a better option. Geyer is not up to NRL standard as a 5/8th. He's alright as a fill in but the best teams in the comp have a really good halves combination.

1. Slater
2. Geyer
3. Bell
4. MacDougall (If he doesn't re-sign King)
5. King (If MacDougall doesn't re-sign Turner)
6. Hill (c)
7. Orford
8. Kearns
9. Smith
10. Chan
11. Robinson
12. Kidwell
13. Johnson

14. Donnelly
15. Scott
16. Hoffman
17. Cronk

Thats a strong bench, lol and yes i have gotten rid of turner again. Your right about slater at fullback i just wanted to put turner in the side somewhere, god damn cooper and turner will never play for the storm. Unless geyer gets injured or retires at the end of next yr. In that case i would still have cooper over turner.

Cooper is ok, but Turner is a better player. If it came down to a choice between the two, Mr Bellamy better make the right one and pick bloody Stevie Turner!!!

hang on a second here... slater started in the centres role as we had ross still wearing the #1 jersey and it was from here where he was first so dynamic. maybe his form will pick up again if hes in the centres?? also he played really well as a winger for QLD - maybe fullback isn't HIS position?? turner did a great job too when billy was away - i say put him in fullback!

Your not far off the mark Phillips. Although Dallas Johnson will be a star.

Ageing forward. He is pretty much a unknown quantity for next year.

If he comes back well then he may well force his way back into the starting line-up.

Here is my lineup:

1. Slater.
2. Turner
3. Bell
4. Cooper
5. King
6. Hill
7. Orford
8. Kearns
9. Smith (C)
10. Chan
11. Kidwell
12. Feeney
13. Johnson

Reserves:

14. Robinson
15. Hoffman
16. Scott
17. Geyer

Dustin Cooper would make a great centre and would pose a lot of problems when attacking other sides with his size.

Geyer is on his last legs and would make a good utility.

;-)

Kia ora.........your team sux deluxe.

Robbie Kearns is as big as most halfbacks these days,Hoffman cant put the friggin ball over the line,Cooper as a centre... , Kidwell will never play as well as he did earlier this year and you have 3 of the better players on the bench.

You have no idea........................
