than I was in that last 10 minutes

season beckoning...the way we played and chucked that footy around showed the NRL what we can do and why we love this team and believe in them so much

we clawed back to 18-20 and although Burty missed a kick he would get 99/100 what a classic match it was in the last 15-20 mintues

now that ive had time to have a think about what Ive just seen..im not gonna get swallowed into negative criticisms over how we played in the first 60 mintues..late ref calls liek the Tahu 80min being tackled without the ball going for the try..lets just look ahead to the remainder of this season

now Canberra have NQ next week..ive not given up alllll hope of a miracel result for us
warriors and broncs play each other..warriors do us a favour and we win
oh yeah and the Knights have a date with none other than high flying-just lossed to the raiders again-ST george

so before we start writing us off this season completely lets win the rabbitohs and warriors games

lets show what we can really do..like we did in that last 15 mintues today

2011 will be an improved season..but i still havnt given up on 2010

Im sorry mate but we really needed to win today and by some miracle if we do make it we will need to do some pretty amazing things to be seen more then just making up the numbers.

I really appreciate your support of the Eels; many other 'fans' would have said season over, who gives a sh*t, I won't be a ticket-holder next year, bla-bla-bla.
Thank you for your undying dedication for our team mate; supporters like you are the backbone of Rugby League.

Still though, I would rather try out some of our younger players in place of the players who are leaving next year.
I.e. I want to see Ken Sio come in for Krisnan Inu, I want to see Daniel Mortimer come back and replace Kris Keating, etc.

But at the same time, I want to see our Parra-juniors that are leaving next year; our friends in Feleti, Krisnan, Kris and Cayless, given one last hurrah at Parramatta Stadium against the Warriors. I want to see them go out on a high, so that we can all applaud them for what they have brought to the Eels, for the team and the fans, over the past couple of years.

Indeed, all sides have consistancy problems but Parramatta swing from one extreme to another.
Ahh the joys of being a Parramatta supporter.

What a bad situation to be losing in as well, or giving away a win more like.
Caylo, a legend of the game, retiring with no finals hope.
A perfect time to give a good 'piss off' to the media scrutinizing over us and our faulty board.

Instead, we show how easy it is for our players to be mentally pressured and choke.
I'm absolutely livid that we gave this game away just as easily as we gave our entire season away. Yeah, sure i'll be deadset on maintaining my status as a fan of the eels, but atm, 2011 isn't looking too good.

Wow, The last 10min were the proudest uve been as an eels supporter?

were u not prouder last year when parra made the gf from nowhere? or 2001? wat about when we won 4 in the 80s?

Todays game was terrible, we were luky tigers bombed 4 tries to keep us in it. In the last 10 min Cayless 'pass' to hayne and burt missing the goal did not make me proud. Leaders of our team making crucial errors

cayless pass to hayne was a absolute shocker. first tackle 20 metres out. i love caylo for everything he has done for the club over the years but everyone talks about how the boys didnt produce for cayless , what about cayless ? he should of put in extra for himself and the team. compared to fui , mannah and poore he was non existent out there.

Oh please! spare me the confected reflection - we have had a shocking season and that last 10 minutes was too little, too late. Wake me up in 6 months - another failed season and 25 Seasons since our last Grand Final victory.

I'm sorry to say this... but Cayless retiring this year is a very good thing for Parra.. He has been generally very poor over the last few years.. considering how experienced he is..

suppose what I was trying to convey was

that I was happy with the pride they showed the shirt in the last 10 minutes

and I think to quote DA from this press conference which i cant post but its on youtube
Daniel Anderson Parramatta Coach search that

press conference ( Gold Coast round 17..i.e the game before the 2009 golden run)

id be happy with the "players honesty" in the last 15 minutes

now I agree with you all here that we didnt really turn up today

and its a shame we had to play major catch up footy..but seeing us play that reminded me of last year

and thats the parra id like to always see

we do the dollowing to quote Warren Smith

Live by the offload..die by the offload
