Before the war began I didn't want our troops to go.
But once Johnny Bozo commanded, I supported the troops because they represent Australia and I am a proud Australian.

Before Monday, I didn't want Ando to leave.
Then Barry Bozo commanded, so I still support the troops because they represent Cronulla-Sutherland and I am a proud Sharks supporter.

This decision was home bred. The club has annouced the return back to its origins after the missed shot at Superleague. Stuart Raper is the last piece of that local puzzle. Ando was doomed a long time ago.

The past is gone. Ando has built the engine parts, now Raper has to make it fire and I will support him because he runs our team.

The coast has a nice seabreeze blowing but it is still bloody hot.

I thought I was the only shark supporter north of Brisbane. It is good to know that I have a comrade in arms. I tell a fib, there is another shark in the Park.

You never hear anything about the Sharks or any other club for that fact, in the papers up here, it is all Brisbane Donkeys this and Brisbane Donkeys that, and when and what time Gordie eats his cornflakes, and Gordies dog has had a needle. I tell you it can be a real pain trying to following any other team north of the Tweed.

Are you a local Rocky lad, or like me, a shark missionery from the upper Port Hacking River that ventured north?

Nah - not a Rocky local - born in the Sutherland Hospital and lived mostly around Miranda till I was about 17...

You're right about the reporting, though - if it wasn't for the internet we'd have no hope of knowing what's going on!!!

There's actually a few of us up here - before the rleague forum and the official forum shut down I could have pointed out about half a dozen from CQ... That's the trouble with those places closing so quickly, a lot of souls were lost

And when did you head north, I arrived in the Park in 86. Why choose Rocky. Not my favorite place......with a great coast just a short drive east.
