Surely 1/6 means that at best they could only sneak into 7th or 8th place from here. When you consider how the new finals system will work and how much of an advantage it will be to finish top 4, it will be a tough ask for the Tigers this year now.

I personally loved Goulds praise of Benji last night... He said he couldn't believe he played in a losing team last week, and didn't deserve it or something along those lines. He's kind of forgetting that he took the team to 16 points, then decided why not take a few idiotic options to ensure the rabbits get back into the game. That was one of the most un-composed performances I've seen from an experienced half in recent years, but it sums up the way he plays.

Last night was no different, he always takes the difficult options because they look good. He believes his own hype.

Standard Gould. Tigers could get ripped by 34 to the Titans and he would find all positives.
If the Broncos were to lose by 2 points he would rip in and find all the negatives.

Except they don't have the strength or depth in the forwards they once had. Bouncing back is certainly possible, but you get consistency in those streaks through the forwards laying a platform... I'm not quite sure they're capable of that.

Dead set some of you listen to Gould too much.
Teams like Melbourne and Manly have it all over the Tigers on paper and in reality. Even in form the Tigers still manage to throw away games that should be easy wins...which is why they haven't won a comp in the last 2 years and why they're sitting on the bottom of the ladder.

The tigers definetaly didn't deserve the win that game and the penalty in golden point was a joke. However I find it funny you say the refs gifted us that game yet fail to mention how harrigan said the strip penalty against tuqiri on Taylor which marched souths downfield for the everingham try with 90 seconds to go shouldnt have been awarded

The 2011 Tigers could have come back from this position, I have my doubt about the 2012 Tigers. There just isn't much to the 1st string forward pack, let alone the 2nd stringers.
